Velskov is a native forest farm in Auckland, New Zealand, founded in 2022 by Danish/New Zealander botanical artist Mamakan.
Our name, Velskov, is Danish and refers to the well-being and prosperity of a forest—well + forest.
Velskov grows tea gardens and culinary herbs in a food forest, guided by the philosophy of GastroEcology.
We promote agroforestry and environmental protection through native forest farming, ecosystem conservation, and biodiversity initiatives.
Together with our partners, we strive to ensure the well-being of all of New Zealand's forests.
